Great for beginners. Needs levels for those who play a more advanced game.
I was glad to find "real" Mah Jong instead of the matching games.
I play often. Win some, lose some. Every so often I wish I could make a different decision than the ones offered, but overall it is a lot of fun.
Thanks for fixing my major concerns (removed the comment section, gave me the option to pass on a tile, now I can always see my own hand). In addition, I love the different views. Now the tiles in my hand and the discard pile are large enough to see easily. From the original release, I like seeing the roll of the die and the wall being broken. I also like the board layout. Now to earn a five star rating, how about some music and choice of background? Oh, and something in the help section about how points are calculated (or at least what type of mahjong point system is being used) would be good.
I have been waiting for a real Mahjong iPhone app for a long time. This game has it all: challenge, fun, ease of use and interest. My only suggestion is yo make it harder. I keep winning and im not THAT good. Thanks.
Not sure why so many people are dogging this game its not that bad, Im giving 5 just fir the fact that people are hurting this app, I digg it.
Some bad moments
Waste of money! Look and feel like an amature game. Worst game that I have paid for at app store.
Wasted $4! iPad version is marginally better. DO NOT BUY!! Slow and unresponsive...
Should be able to identify chows, pung and kong manually. Also often chows are missed. Without a fix the was not worth the price.
I thought it would be the real Mah Jongg game. I am very disappointed. The rules are not even very thorough for this version. I would not recommend buying it if you like to play real Mah Jongg.
This was a disappointment. The graphics are nice but I found the pace of the game to be slow, I seem to always win and there is absolutely no explanation on the scoring. There are better chinese mah jong games out there.
After downloading the game several years ago, I was so disappointed that I purchased this. Its NOT about the money that I spent on the game! This game does NOT deliver the Mah Jong that I expected. I took it off my iPhone over a year ago.
